North East Area
Who are the North East Area Light Blues Club?
The NEA Light Blues Club is made up of younger or more junior ‘Light Blue’ Masons from across the North East Area of the Province of Hampshire & Isle of Wight. This includes Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts, as well as Master Masons that have not yet received Provincial honours. Our aim is to help our members get as much as they can from their masonry and to enjoy a fuller and more rounded masonic experience.
What do the North East Area Light Blues Club do?
We run several events throughout the year to give our members the opportunity to meet and socialise with like-minded Masons at similar stages in their Masonic progression. In the past these have included visits to Grand Lodge, visits to various Lodges, talks by guest speakers, breakfast meetings and our annual Chinese night. We also encourage wives, partners and non-mason friends to come along to many of our social events too. We also actively promote and support other area initiatives such as the North East Pillars and Freemasonry in the Community.
Who are the Light Blues Committee?
The Club is led by a small committee who plan, organize and run the events on behalf of the club. The current committee members are
|Aldershot & Farnham||Hal Fearns|
|Fornborough A||Mark French|
The committee are supported by a team of Light Blues Reps who help by keeping the lodges up to date with the events the Club is running and by encouraging our members to come along and get involved.
